Multilingual Word, Inc.

Multilingual Word, Inc. was founded in 1995 to offer quality interpreting services and equal access to health care for non-English speaking patients.  We have expanded to serve the Twin Cities and surrounding communities and take pride in the quality of our face-to-face, Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and telephone interpretation services. We consistently provide superior service to advance the health outcomes of our diverse community.

Our expansive interpreter base consists of several hundred independent contractors proficient in more than 100 languages and dialects. Multilingual Word, Inc. prides itself in its ability to meet many types of services, even short-notice requests, including for unique and hard-to-find languages. Multilingual Word, Inc. also provides American Sign Language interpretation and we are regarded as one of the only all-language interpreting services that maintain a roster of certified and highly qualified ASL interpreters.

Our many satisfied clients include a variety of facilities such as hospitals, clinics, county and city governments, health plans, and school districts throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area.  We have enjoyed a superb reputation in the medical, business, educational and legal communities for well over two decades.

We have a reputation for our willingness to go the extra mile to provide difficult-to-find languages when other interpreting agencies can not. We have continued to add to our interpreter database as our community becomes more diverse.
